Submission, publication, and peer review process

The conference uses Orvium as its submission and publication platform. Instructions for submitting a contribution to the conference can be found here. Please make sure to carefully follow these instructions.

All contributions submitted to the conference will be published as a preprint on the platform. Contributions will be openly accessible under a CC-BY license. Authors will retain their copyright. Each contribution will have its own DOI.

The conference will organize an open peer review process. For each contribution submitted to the conference, the reviews will be published on the submission and publication platform and will be linked to the preprint version of the contribution. Reviewers will decide themselves whether they do or do not want to disclose their identity. Authors will be invited to update their contribution based on the feedback provided by reviewers. The updated contribution will also be published on the submission and publication platform.

Based on the outcomes of the peer review process, the conference organizers will decide which contributions are suitable for presentation at the conference. These decisions will be made by the selection committee. For a short research paper, the selection committee may invite the authors either for an oral presentation or for a poster presentation. A poster presentation can be either a presentation of a physical poster at the conference venue or a presentation of an electronic poster in a hybrid poster session. The procedure that the selection committee will follow for selecting contributions for presentation at the conference can be found here.

Authors of contributions submitted to the conference are expected to serve as reviewers of contributions submitted by other authors. Please make sure you have sufficient time available in May 2023 to contribute to the peer review process.

More information about the submission, publication, and peer review process can be found in this blog post.
